Connecting - How It Works

Fertility Connect’s aim is to provide information and support for couples having trouble in conceiving. We felt that it was important to provide accurate information but also to have contact with other people experiencing similar difficulties. The concept of a web site enabled a degree of anonymity but also provided contact with others.

Free chat rooms

The free chat room is available to everyone. You can make contact with people, share experiences, offer and provide support for each other. To enter the free chat rooms, all you need to do is:

Chat room - New user instructions:

• Click on ‘Go to Chat rooms’
• Click on Create New Account
• Register a username and password (please note your registered username / password can also be used to book an expert session)
• Login to the chat room and enter a public room.

Expert sessions

Our service enables you to book into a group session with a fertility expert in a secure private chat room. In the session, you will be able to discuss your individual fertility issues or concerns. All our experts work in the infertility field and have up to date knowledge in their specialist field.

Expert Session - Booking instructions for new users;

• Click on ‘Go to Chat rooms’
• Click on Create New Account
• Register a username and password (please note the username is your identification to access a booked session)

*Please do not forget your username and password as it has been encrypted in our database and we cannot retrieve it for you.

Once you have created your account please return to the Home page, then:

• Click on Book a session
• Select a session from the dates and times available
• Reserve a session
• Once you have successfully booked a session, confirmation details will be provided by e-mail.
