hi all,
i a newbie to this site. I have been living with pcos for 10yrs maybe more.
It has been very hard but thanks to the internet and chat rooms it is easier to live with.
I have been ttc for the past 7 years, it has been to say the least very testing times.
I have had a lapa & dye test last year everything is normal.
Have been referred to the fertilty clinic and will be starting clomid!!!
I am excited and nervous at the same time. I won't be starting it till may as i am going on hoilday. I didn't know it would happen so soon.
If anyone is going thru this please could we stay in touch, no one else really what it's like to ttc and going thru all types of treatment just to have a baby.

Just wanted to say Good Luck but also be aware that Clomid can be quite dangerous as I took it but to no avail except serious unbearable internal pains due to almost rupturing an ovary.. Also the weight gain can be an effort to deal with along with major mood swings which we already suffer from with PCOS symptoms anyway! Metformin can bring on ovulation after a yr os so of taking it and as Insulin Resistance causes the PCOS in the first place its a good solution to most symptoms especially weight gain which only hinders natural ovulation.
