Hi all,

Wow yes big relief that hubby starts new job this wednesday. I am nervous though whether they will retain him after training complete but I can't really worry about that now. The extra finances will be put away into savings just in case of worst case scenario. My work is in a bit of a turmoil too. I work for the Government and we're facing another election. I am not sure what I will return to after maternity leave! I have 3 months of work left :)

I'm crossing all my fingers and toes as people await their periods and start treatment. It is a nervous time for you all. I have you in my prayers too.

I start accupuncture again at 36 weeks (i'm 25 weeks this week) so have a bit of a wait to go. Hubby has been good with foot massages, does this count as reflexology? lol

Laurs the 4D scan sounds amazing...I don't know how much they cost here but I remember at some point seeing a pamphlet about that...I'll definitely have to look into it some more!! What a wonderful hubby to do such a special thing and HAPPY anniversary hon!! xxxx

Hiya girls, went to hospital today, had scan everything looking good, because i got period fri and im day 4 im too late to start meds honestly if they had me in fri i could have started, nurse said its just unfortunate because they are so busy, so i start injections 16th aug then scan 2nd sept and transfer around 25th, seems along time for a frozen cycle, i asked about putting 2 embies in but she said because they are all day 5 she doesn't think they will let me, i agreed putting 1 back last time because they where so positive it was that good quality and a good chance it would work and it didn't, just think they are our embies and my body why cant i decide? anyway need to stay positive :D hope all is well with u all speak soon xxx

Staceylee I know what you mean! I felt that I had to fight with them to get two embys put back. First time they really talked us out of it and the second time was a bit easier as I only had two and they never freeze just one here - so it was a good thing. Of course only one took, but hey we only need one! If you would feel better with two do your best to get both in there hon :) xx

Well done Fee! Will be great for you to start on Wed- we'll be here to help you through the yucky sickness or any worries you have (we all seem to get em). xx

Went to GP today - measurements good, heartbeat good, activity LOADS - she's a busy beaver my lil one. I'm looking into the 4D scans- have a number to call later today to ask about price. They recommend between 30-32 weeks for the best pics - but Laurs you were not quite 30 weeks were you and your pics were awesome?!

Hi Fee - I guess you had the first injection today, how did you get on? x

Clasha - Hello you! How did your scan go, did you find out the flavour? x

StaceyLee - My hospital always give me all the meds that I need before the treatment starts so if I start period over the weekend I can start my own meds so that's very disappointing, you want to get them in advance next time. My clinic were the same with day 5 embryos but push for it, at the end of the day I had 2 x day 3 embryos put back in and only one took so as far as I'm concerned you're doubling your chances like Kapers did also, this doesn't mean you will get twins does it, although it is a possibility x

Kapers - Go for the 3D scan if you can, at the end of the day you don't know with this IVF lark if you will ever be this successful again so go for it. Over here the optimum time to get it done hubby was told was 27.5 weeks but I've noticed a few differences between our countries so just go with what yours suggest. I was 27 weeks and 3 days and it was fab, pictures, a dvd, reassurance that everything is good and a baby weight so if you can get the money together I would definitely recommend it. x

AFM - Got low blood pressure and was dehydrated so midwife couldn't do bloods because she said when you're dehydrated it's more difficult (I never have trouble with them getting bloods normally). So went straight home, put my feet up and had some water and buttery toast, so busy at work and hardly any staff and busy workload so not helping but what can I do, bloody work! x

hiya ladies.........................

laurs clasha and kapers happy days so enjoy.

as for me the test kit is now available in india quantiferon TB gold, so today i'll give the sample and wait for sunday for the result. doc suggests that if the result is negative then she'll go for TB PCR test, and then decide. she just wanna check coz as she said all my reports are very very good.

lets hope what they diagnose.

am in college and feelin very bad coz i came here to work after 1 month, went to moms house for 20 days, had great time with my parents. also went to holiday with hubby. so great feeln. did lots of shopping for everyone and for me and hubby too. so at all leave all the worries behind for 1 whole month.

now i am here and again starting the procedure. hope we all get what we want. and we sure do.

Hi Girls

Im back sorry not been on for while but really dont know where the time is going these days. I am absoulutely knackered 24/7. Most nights I am in bed by nine just cannot stay awake. Usually we stay up quite late but as soon as I am home from work my bed is calling. I am 10 weeks this week last week i felt sick every single day it was horrible specially when your sat at work and no one knows. But hey feeling better this week so hopefully coming out the other side now!! I have appt with my midwife on the 11/8 (think that is the same day fee has her egg collection - so will be thinking of you.) and then scan booked for 18th August. Laurs your right in what you say i dont think i will stop worrying til the baby is in my arms. Just as you get over one hurdle like the dreaded 2ww, its then your 7w scan and you think i will be ok after that but then your not its the wait to 12 week scan. Im never gonna stop worrying!! and im sure it does not change after thier born.

Laurs - not long now. Are you feeling uncomfortable? I bet you cannot wait to meet ickle fella. Are you getting nervous about labour I know u have been through it before but now u know whats to come?!? Are you ready for his arrival at home plenty nappies etc. I cant wait to start buying things althou will be harder coz im not going to find out the flavour. keep me posted.

Elmo - 2ww is the worst - i remember mine and i really dont know how i would have coped if i didnt have these girls . Have you any news keeping my fingers crossed.

Kapers - SOOOOOOOOO pleased hubby got job , how is it going is he still training. I bet this takes the pressure off specially as you have not got long left yourself. Probably lifted his spirits as well bet he was worrying knowing your worrying and heavily pregnant. How are u feeling? HAve u decided on any names ? or u still thinking. At least you only have girls names to choose from.

Staceylee = Hope you are keeping positive.. I know the injections can be awful but u have to keep thinking of the end result. I recommend the milk drinking during 2ww i drank so much after Laurs told me her experiences and I ended up being lucky and i was so negative specially when i only had one egg that fertilsed - i was so sure it was all to good to be true. so Keep positive and go out and buy 8 pints milk lol. Im thinking of you. xxxxx

Its my birthday next sunday and got the midwife on 11th so really excited bout next couple weeks will keep you all updated love to you all .

writng and reading has made me tired think i need power nap lol.

Hey all,

I am just so glad that we have such good news stories from this year. I think we are really shaking things up here and I know that next round of positives are coming!

I am glad hubby has a job. It is a bit of a relief and I am anxiously awaiting his first pay on the 18th. He has eating himself into a much bigger version due to the depression of being unemployed and now needs a whole new wardrobe which we can't afford but going naked isn't really an option either. So all my savings I'd put away for the baby have gone. Gone on keeping us afloat and now new clothes. I am a bit frustrated by it all tbh. I don't mean to sound ungrateful but sometimes I just look at him as we're driving to work and he's complaining about the traffic (which is the same every morning!) and think to myself "why did I marry you?".

I myself am definitely piling on the baby weight out front. I'm looking pregnant hahaa. I have borrowed some pants from friends which will help me get through this next stage in some relative comfort. I'm finding it more difficult to get comfortable laying down and have been vomitting on and off again lately. However it's all worth it. I have NO doubts about that.

Sorry for the long rant and rave - feel like I might be having one of my pity parties today girls. Take care xxx

hey ladies

the quantiferon gold TB test report is negative. now i bave to go for TB PCR, in which then take the specimen from inside and do the same test for TB. i think that'll also come negative. i dont know whether it is good sign or bad that all my test reports are coming clear. positive in case of ok i m ready for the next round.

negative that if everything is good then whats the problem? anyway, lets see what they concluding with.

catch u soon again.
