Hi All,

I am hoping that someone can help us. I am a poor responder and following ICSI with 450 Gonal produced only 3 eggs, ..only one fertilised, and the remaining two were such poor quality that they did not survive the ICSI process.

Yesterday we were told that our cycle had failed as there was no cell division. Today 72 hours later the egg has divided and is now a 4 cell grade 1. However, we did not go for ET today as on discussion with the Dr we were told this is very rare (only 20 cases at the lister in the last 5 years) and the Dr said that she had never seen no division on Day 2 then sudden day 3 a 4 cell. On reading the research on the internet it appears that late cleavage is associated with chromosomal abnormalities, so we have decided to wait until day 5 to see if it continues to develop.

Does anyone have a similar story and if so what happened. My husband and I just do not know what to do, as this our last shot with my eggs. Please help!
